You’ve stumbled upon Olivier’s Blog….
For those who don’t know me, I have been an entrepreneur for most of my life, starting when in High School (1980’s) I started a printshop and typesetting business in my parent’s basement… only to be told that zoning laws didn’t allow for a store front… which may have helped shape some of my negative feelings towards over-regulation… who knows…
In any case, when not Entrepreneuring I have been a developer, an architect, a program manager and a technical product manager for a variety of companies and startups. Most recently I worked for Microsoft in Redmond on the SQL Server team’s audience strategy PM team and User Experience team.
I am now back at a software startup / small company called LogiXML, in a new role, as a BI Consultant, working to get better at technical sales and learning about some cool products.
In my spare time, I spend time with my wife Kristin and my 3 kids, Hayden, Tristan and Leia…. Yes, Leia as in Princess Leia from Star Wars. Tristan wanted to name her Darth Vader, so Princess Leia was a better girl’s name.
And in my spare spare time, I work with other startups and friends who ask for my advice about startups, technology and other random topics…. not sure why they listen to me, but its fun to live vicariously through their experiences.
So welcome to my blog.
